Dog walker ‘left pet’s poo on ice cream van after noise rant’

A 62-year-old man has been arrested following the alleged incident in Luss last month.

A man has been charged after allegedly leaving a bag of dog poo on an ice cream van counter because he was unhappy with the loud chimes it was playing.

The disturbance reportedly took place in Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond, on Sunday, August 30.

A 62-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He allegedly verbally abused the vendor before placing a bag of dog poo on the serving hatch.

The van has reportedly been taken off the road so it can be deep cleaned.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “A 62-year-old man has been charged in connection with a disturbance that happened around 6.40pm on Sunday, August 30, in the Pier Road area of Luss.”

A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
