Detectives are investigating an attempted murder after a driver deliberately mowed down a man.
The 29-year-old victim was struck by a car at the junction of Hollybank Street and Kintyre Street in Glasgow at around 6.25pm on Monday.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
The driver then made off along Kintyre Street and then towards Royston Road.
Officers believe the man was deliberately struck by the vehicle and are treating the incident as attempted murder.
Detective sergeant Stephen Palmer said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage or private CCTV from the area to get in touch.”
