A delivery cyclist who was riding on the motorway was stopped by police in Glasgow.
Officers stopped the man while on a bike at junction 15 on the M8 yesterday when he was heading to complete a delivery.
Police said the danger posed to the cyclist meant he had to be escorted from the M8 and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland post on X read: “The Glasgow Road Policing Inspector spotted this chap cycling on the motorway at J15 on the M8 in Glasgow today whilst heading to another call.
“Due to the danger posed to the cyclist he was escorted from the motorway and reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
