iStockA probe has been launched after a woman was found dead within a Glasgow home on Monday.
Emergency services were called to Sandwood Road at around 4.40pm after they were alerted to the death of a 58-year-old woman.
Detectives are treating the incident as unexplained. Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, we were made aware of the death of a 58-year-old woman at a property on Sandwood Road, Glasgow.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
