The death of a man found injured on a Glasgow street is being treated as unexplained by detectives.
Emergency services were called to Lenzie Terrace in Springburn following reports of a 54-year-old man being found injured at around 1.45am on Saturday.
Medical teams pronounced the man dead at the scene. The incident is being treated as unexplained by detectives.
Officers are still on the scene as the investigation continues.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a 54-year-old man having been found injured on Lenzie Terrace in Glasgow around 1.45am on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
“Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and officers remain in the area while enquiries continue.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
