A cyclist was taken to hospital after being attacked by a gang wearing football scarves in Glasgow.
The 31-year-old man was cycling on Maryhill Road near to Windsor Street when he was approached by a group of four male youths and assaulted.
The incident happened at around 6.50pm on Friday, April 25.
He attended at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment and was later released.
Police believe the males are in their teens and were wearing football scarves at the time of the attack.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective constable Marc Stirling said: “Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 1538 of April 27, 2025. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
