A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car on a street in Paisley.
Emergency services were called to Brediland Road at around 9.25pm on Sunday, October 6, after receiving reports of a collision involving a bike and a car.
The 23-year-old man who was riding a bike was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment following the incident. Officers closed off the road after the crash. However, it has since reopened.
An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.25pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024, officers received a report of a crash involving a cyclist and a car on Brediland Road, Paisley.
“A 23-year-old man, the cyclist, was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed but later reopened.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
