One death and 236 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland overnight, official figures have shown.
The death toll of those who tested positive currently stands at 7661, however weekly figures on suspected Covid-19 deaths recorded by National Records of Scotland suggest the most up-to-date total is now more than 10,000.
The daily test positivity rate is 1.2%, up from the 0.9% reported on Thursday.
Of the new cases reported on Friday, 73 are in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region, 34 are in Grampian, 33 are in Lothian and 32 are in Lanarkshire.
The rest of the cases are spread out across seven other health board areas.
According to NHS boards across Scotland, 68 people are currently in hospital with confirmed or suspected Covid-19. Out of those, eight patients are in intensive care.
It was also confirmed that 2,876,633 Scots have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, an increase of 15,998 from the day before.
A total of 1,424,208 people have received their second dose, a rise of 23,912.
