A convicted prisoner who had disappeared while on home leave from HMP Castle Huntly has been traced.
James Stewart was reported missing from an address in Glasgow at around 2.35pm on Friday.
Police Scotland launched a search for the 24-year-old over the weekend but confirmed the prisoner had been found on Sunday morning.
A spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that James Stewart, 24, who was reported missing on Friday, 1 October, from HMP Castle Huntly, has been traced.”
