Police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of an elderly man who has been missing for two days.
David Simpson was last seen in the St Leonard Street area of Lanark around 11.30am on Sunday.
The 77-year-old is described as 5ft 8ins with short white/grey hair and of stocky build.
It’s not known what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
David is known to travel by bus within the Lanarkshire area.
Inspector Peter Johnstone, Hamilton Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for David’s welfare, and efforts are ongoing to trace him.
“If you think you’ve seen him or have any information on his whereabouts, please get in touch with us.”
