Police are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a man who hasn’t been seen for over a month.
William Barclay was seen in the Newmilns area of Ayrshire on August 26 and was reported missing on September 28.
The 54-year-old has been known to spend time in the Oban, Fort William and Mallaig areas and normally travels by bus.
William is described as 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build with short grey hair.
Sergeant Alan Cronie from Kilmarnock Police Station said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for William’s wellbeing, particularly given the length of time since he was last seen.
“We would continue to appeal for anyone who thinks they may have seen him to report any sightings to us.
“Anyone with information regarding William’s whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland quoting incident number 1035 of Saturday, September 28, 2024.”
