Concerns growing for missing man as search under way at Glasgow park Police Scotland

Concerns are growing for a missing man who is believed to have made his way to a park in Glasgow.

Alan Woods was last seen around 7.30am on Friday, January 5, in the Balornock Road area of the city.

The 52-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 10in, of medium build and with short, dark hair.

When Alan was last seen he was dark coloured, loose-fitting trousers. It is unknown what else he may be wearing.

It is believed he may have made his way to Springburn Park.

Sergeant Kevin Dougall, Cathcart Police Office, said: “Concerns are growing for Alan and we want to ensure he is safe and well. Anyone who has seen Alan or knows where he might be is asked to get in touch. Likewise, if Alan hears about this appeal, I would ask him to make contact with us.”
