Missing teen who failed to show up for school 'may have travelled to London'

Concerns are growing for a 14-year-old boy who has gone missing after failing to turn up for school four days ago.

Tolas Hammeed was last seen around 9am on Monday in the Castlemilk Drive area of Glasgow.

Police believe he may have travelled to London by train.

Tolas is described as being 5ft 7in with short black hair. When last seen, he was wearing a white school shirt, black school trousers and a black Canada Goose puffer jacket.

Sergeant David MacLean said: “We need to make sure Tolas is safe and well and we are asking the public to get in touch if they have seen him or know where he might be.

“Anyone who can help should contact us via 101, quoting reference number 1434 of February 4, 2025.”
