Concerns are growing for a missing woman who was last seen walking along the side of a road in Aberdeen.

Alice Mitchell was originally reported to have gone missing on Monday around 11pm.

Officers have since established that the 82-year-old was seen walking along the B797 towards Starbucks in Blackburn, around 5.25am on Tuesday.

Police described the Ms Mitchell as around 5’1 tall, with a slim build and short grey hair.

She is believed to be wearing a black bomber style jacket.

Sergeant Mark Cobban said: “As time passes, our concern for Alice’s welfare continues to grow. We continue to ask anyone with any information, or potential sightings of Alice, to please come forward.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone with possible dashcam or video doorbell footage from the area, which may be able to assist our enquiries.

“You can call police on 101, quoting incident 1131 of September 11, 2024.”
