'Concerns grow' for missing Ayrshire girls last seen three days ago

A search has been launched for two Irvine girls last seen three days ago.

Lilly Mai Bryden, 14, and Jamie Lee Harvie, 15, are believed to have been travelling together throughout the Kilmarnock, Kilmaurs and Stewarton areas since Tuesday.

Lilly Mai is described as white, 5ft 4in and of slim build with brown hair. When she was last seen, the teen was wearing a red zipped top, black shorts and brown Ugg slippers.

Jamie Lee is described as white, 5ft 1in and of slim build with long blonde hair. The teenager was last seen wearing a grey jumpsuit.

Inspector Chris Cochrane said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Lilly Mai and Jamie Lee’s welfare and safety. We are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace them as soon as possible to ensure they are safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen them or who has any information on their whereabouts to please contact us as soon as possible.”
