Concern is growing for a pensioner with dementia who has been reported missing from Glasgow’s West End.
Francis Young, who is also known as Frank, was last seen on Burbank Terrace at around 10pm on Friday, January 6.
The 78-year-old is described as being white, around 5ft 6in in height, with grey/red short hair and a moustache and glasses.
Police said that he may be wearing a green parker-style jacket and a bracelet with his name and address on it, due to being a dementia sufferer.
Inspector Gordon Murphy said: “Given the amount of time Frank has been missing and the fact of his dementia, we are growing increasingly concerned for his well being.
“We ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call police on 101, quoting incident 1205 of January 7.”
