A 96-year-old woman with dementia who was reported missing in Argyll and Bute has been found safe.
An appeal for information was launched on Tuesday after the pensioner from Cowal in Argyll and Bute was reported missing.
Police confirmed on Wednesday morning that she had been traced and thanked the public for their help.
A spokesperson for Argyll and West Dunbartonshire police said: A missing woman from the Cowal area who was last seen on Tuesday, 21 September has been traced safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals and assisted with our enquiries.”
