Concern is growing for the safety of a man last seen three weeks ago.

Police say the disappearance of Kal Clarke from East Kilbride is “out of character” after launching an appeal to trace him.

The 24-year-old was last seen in the Loch Loyal area at around 9pm on Sunday.

He is described as 5’11 in height, with short, brown hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a grey hooded top, blue polo shirt, grey jeans, a black body warmer and black and white trainers. He was also carrying a grey-coloured rucksack.

Officers have established that Kal has travelled into Glasgow city centre and the west end area of the city in the past and are making enquiries in those locations.

Sergeant Scott Anderson said: “It is totally out of character for Kal not to be in touch with his mum, his family and his friends and that fact that no-one has seen him or heard from him is giving us cause for concern.

“His family is understandably extremely concerned and just want to know he is safe and well. If anyone has seen Kal or has any knowledge as to his whereabouts, please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 4181 of February 20, 2023.
