Concern is growing for a missing teenager in Renfrewshire who has not been seen in two days.

Laura Walker was last seen in the Shortroods area of Paisley at around 2pm on Thursday and police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing her.

The 14-year-old has links to Aberdeen and it is possible she could have travelled there by train.

Officers leading the search have released a description of the schoolgirl.

She is described as being around 4ft11 with long blonde hair, green eyes and a slim build.

When last seen he was wearing a black north face jacket, black leggings and white Nike trainers.

A spokesman for the force said: “Anyone who may have seen the teenager since Thursday, or who has any information which could be relevant to her whereabouts, should contact Police Scotland via 101 as soon as possible.”
