Concern is growing for the safety of a missing man from Ayrshire.

Police have issued a public appeal to help trace Jason Liddell who was reported missing around 5pm on Thursday from New Cumnock.

The 33-year-old was last seen on Maybole Road in Ayr.

He is described as white with brown hair, around 6ft 2 in height and is heavily tattooed.

A police statement states: “We are concerned for Jason’s welfare and appeal to anyone with information to contact Cumnock Police Office on 101 quoting incident number 2255 of December, 29.”
