A major search is underway for a 15-year-old boy who has been missing for five nights.
Concern is growing for Tyler McDougall who was last seen at around 1am on Wednesday.
The last sighting of the teenager from Ayr was in the town’s Cunningham Place.
Police are now appealing for the public’s help in tracing him.
He is described as being around 6ft with a slim build and short dark hair, when he was last seen he was wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a navy, grey and green jacket.
A Police Spokesman said: “Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 0188 of 6 October 21.”
