The Christmas markets at St Enoch Square in Glasgow city centre have officially reopened for the festive season.

The popular attraction opened at 9am on Sunday and will run until 10pm every day for a month until Thursday December 23.

After being shelved due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 there is has been even more anticipation over their return this year.

And with the markets at George Square cancelled for a second year in a row the St Enoch stalls will likely be more popular than ever.

A Glasgow Life spokesperson said: “Christmas isn’t Christmas without a trip to the festive markets to get you in to the spirit of the season.

“Join us at St Enoch Square where traders from across the globe will welcome you with festive trinkets, perfect Christmas gift ideas and gastronomic delights aplenty.”
