A child has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Greenock.
Emergency services were called to South Street following a crash involving a child and a car around 1.45pm on Friday.
The child has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and enquiries are ongoing, officers said.
South Street at Kelly Street is closed with local diversions in place.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call to attend a road traffic collision on South Street, Greenock.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
