A child was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services arrived at the scene on Ardencraig Road, Castlemilk, after receiving reports of a crash at around 5.55pm on Thursday.
A girl was taken to hospital for treatment, however her current condition is unknown.
The driver, a 29-year-old man, was arrested in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 20.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Thursday, May 30, 2024, police received a report of a crash involving a car and a child pedestrian.
“The girl was taken to hospital for assessment.
“The 29-year-old male driver was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
