CCTV images of a man have been released after “culpable and reckless“ conduct during a New Year Old Firm match.
The incident, which occurred at Ibrox during the Rangers v Celtic game on January 2 this year, is under investigation by police.
The man pictured in CCTV images is described as being aged between mid to late 40s with short, dark-brown hair.
He was wearing a blue Stone Island jacket, black leather gloves and had a checked scarf around his neck.
Police constable Daniel Brady, Greater Glasgow Division, said: “We would urge this male or anyone who knows him to please make contact with us.
“I would also ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or anyone with information relating to the incident, to please speak to officers via 101, quoting reference 0922 of January 2, 2023.
“Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
