CCTV images have been released of a man police wish to speak to following a “serious” assault in Renfrewshire.
Officers were alerted to the incident which occurred around 12.30am on June 25, 2023, on Gilmour Street in Paisley.
A 27-year-old man was injured in the assault and taken to hospital for further treatment.
Police have released images of a man they believe will be able to assist them in their ongoing enquiries regarding the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Detectives in Renfrewshire have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault which occurred in Paisley in June 2023.
“Around 12.30am on Sunday, June 25, 2023, a 27-year-old man was assaulted in Gilmour Street, Paisley, and later needed hospital treatment for his injuries.
“Officers are looking to trace the man in the image as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.”
