Police have released images of five men they want to track down following a serious assault in Glasgow earlier this year.

The incident began within the McDonald’s on the corner of Argyle Street and Jamaica Street at around 1am on Saturday, February 29.

Police originally reported that a 23-year-old man suffered a facial injury and damage to his teeth as he tried to diffuse an argument within the fast food outlet.

The disturbance then continued outside Currys PC World in Jamaica Street, where a 25-year-old man suffered facial injuries as he tried to assist.

Both victims had to be taken to the city’s royal infirmary for treatment.

Now more than two months on, officers believe the men pictured will be able to help with the investigation.

If you recognise any of the men, call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
