Police attempt to trace man in relation to serious assault

Officers believe that the man in the images may be able to assist in their ongoing investigation.

A CCTV image of a man has been released as police attempt to trace him in relation to a serious assault investigation in Glasgow.

At around 11.40pm on Saturday, January 28, a serious assault took place on Gordon Street, near Buchanan Street, in Glasgow.

The victim of the attack required hospital treatment, and officers believe that the man in the images may be able to assist in their ongoing investigation.

The man is described as white, between 20 and 25 years of age, with short dark hair.

At the time he was wearing a dark blue jacket, blue polo shirt, dark blue jeans and white trainers.

Detective constable Graham Nicolson of CID said: “The victim required hospital treatment following this serious attack.

“I would urge the man, or anyone who has information relating to the man in the image to make contact with the police.”
