Police are appealing for doorbell, private CCTV and dashcam footage after two cars were “deliberately” set on fire in a driveway in North Lanarkshire.

Officers said around 2.10am on Friday, September 20 two vehicles were set alight on a driveway on Rosewood Place in Bargeddie.

There were no reported injuries as officers said the fire is being treated as wilful.

A spokesperson for Coatbridge CID said: “I’m appealing to anyone with information on what happened to get in touch with us.

“If you have doorbell cameras, private CCTV or a dashcam, please review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 0296 of September 20.
