A number of caravan drivers were ordered to leave Strathclyde Country Park by police.
A witness told STV News he saw around 11 vehicles drive in after boulders were removed from the Motherwell end of the North Lanarkshire park.
Police received a number of calls over the incident on Sunday, before officers went to the park and told the drivers to leave.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Between 5.40pm and 7pm on May 17, police received a number of calls regarding vehicles and caravans entering Strathclyde Park.
“Officers attended and the vehicles and occupants were moved on from Strathclyde Park.”
