Car towing boat breaks down on motorway causing traffic disruption

A car towing a boat has broken down on the M8 in Glasgow, causing traffic delays.

Traffic Scotland confirmed that the motorway’s carriageway is restricted Westbound at Junction 14, due to a broken-down vehicle towing a boat.

Drivers were warned to “take care in the area”.

They wrote: “It certainly isn’t plain sailing in Glasgow today!

“The carriageway is restricted Westbound at Junction 14 due to a broken-down vehicle towing a boat.

“Take care if you are a-boat the area!”
