Police are investigating after a car was deliberately firebombed on a street in East Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to a property on Broomcroft Road in Newton Mearns around 12.40am on Saturday.
The blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reported injuries.
Officers confirmed investigations are ongoing.
“The fire is being treated as wilful, and enquiries are ongoing”, a spokesperson said.
“Anyone with information can call reference 0164 of 4 July.”
