A woman has been charged after cannabis worth around £144,000 was seized by police in North Lanarkshire.
Officers recovered around 38kg of cannabis while searching a property on Carron Street in Wishaw on Wednesday evening.
Police said the cannabis was worth an estimated £144,000.
More than £13,000 in cash and items used for the distribution of illegal drugs were also seized in the search.
Police confirmed a 35-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
The woman is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Thursday.
The force is urging anyone with information regarding the recovery to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Vicky Shanley said: “This is a significant recovery and is an example of our efforts to disrupt the trade in illegal drugs in Scotland.
“It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We would continue to urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
