A cannabis farm estimated to be worth up to £1m has been discovered within a disused bingo hall.
Police seized the cultivation in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, on Friday and said its street value was between £600,000 and £1m.
Two men, aged 40 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around midday on Friday, December 4, officers, acting under warrant, searched a disused bingo hall on Brown Street, Port Glasgow, and discovered a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of a six-figure sum.”
