A group of campers have been rescued from a flooded campsite after being caught in heavy downpours in Dumfries and Galloway.
Galloway Mountain Rescue Team were called around 12.41am in the early hours of Tuesday morning by Police Scotland, after four campers became stranded.
The group had planned to camp by Loch Enoch, but due to harsh weather conditions, the site was flooded, leaving their tents and equipment soaked through.
Rescuers made their way to the group, trekking two miles in rough, boggy terrain in brutal conditions to reach the stranded campers.
The team helped the group pack away their drenched gear and escorted them safely back to waiting vehicles.
The incident was stood down at 6am.
