Police are investigating after a cache of offensive weapons was found following a disturbance among a crowd on Saturday.
Police were called to Glasgow Green and Gallowgate near the city centre at around 8.40pm after a number of people began to gather in the area.
Several people were reported in connection with disorder offences.
A number of weapons were then found nearby, which were recovered by officers.
There were no reports of any injuries and crowds dispersed from the area after officers “engaged” with those who had gathered.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Emergency services attended and engaged with those gathered.
“There were no reported injuries and the crowds dispersed from the area.
“A number of people have been reported in connection with disorder offences.
“Officers remain in the area and additional patrols will be carried out.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
