A busy city centre road was closed for around four hours following a two car crash in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services attended the incident on Glasgow’s Bothwell Street at around 5.45am on Wednesday.
There were no injuries found and one driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice.
Glasgow City Council revealed the road was closed to all traffic at Douglas Street as a result of the crash with road users urged to use alternative routes.
The local authority confirmed that it reopened again at around 9.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars on Bothwell Street, Glasgow, around 5.45am on Wednesday, July 13.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“One driver was issued with a fixed penalty notice and recovery was arranged.”
