Fire crews battled a bus blaze after the vehicle burst into flames in North Lanarkshire.
Two fire engines were called to the blaze on Netherton Road in Wishaw around 8.15pm on Monday.
Police were also called as crews extinguished the area and made the area safe.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 8.15pm on Monday, March 9, to reports of a bus on fire on Netherton Road, Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene alongside emergency service partners.
“Crews worked to extinguish the fire and left after making the area safe.”
Officers from Police Scotland confirmed nobody was injured during the incident.
A spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to a report of a bus on fire on Netherton Road, Wishaw around 8.15pm on Monday, March 9.
“Nobody was injured. Officers assisted with traffic management and the road was reopened at 4.30am on Tuesday, March 10.”
