A broken down car has caught on fire in the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the northbound section of the tunnel around 7pm on Monday evening.
Four appliances attended the scene and extinguished the blaze.
Following the fire, Traffic Scotland said the Clyde Tunnel was closed in both directions.
Around 8.30pm, the southbound tunnel was reopened and used to direct both northbound and southbound traffic.
The northbound tunnel remains closed.
Emergency services remain on the scene and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
