A teenage boy who was left fighting for his life after being pulled from a river in Renfrewshire has died in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the River Gryfe, near to Auchans Farm, at around 6.50pm on Wednesday.
The teenager was recovered from the water and taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow, where he died on Saturday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
