Emergency services were called to reports of a crash on Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen, at around 8pm on Wednesday.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children. His current condition is unknown.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland said: “Around 8pm on Wednesday, 12 February, 2025, we were called to a report of a crash involving a bus and a 14-year-old male on Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen.
“Emergency services attended and the male was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
