A body has been pulled from a canal in Glasgow after emergency services were called on Saturday night.
At around 11.30pm on Saturday, June 3 officers were called to reports of concern for a person at the Forth and Clyde canal, near Firhill Road in Glasgow.
Searches were carried out and at around 9.20am Sunday, June 4, the body of a man was recovered from the water.
Enquiries are ongoing and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.30pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023, officers received a report of concern for a person at the Forth and Clyde canal, near Firhill Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and searches were carried out.
“Around 9.20am on Sunday, June 4, 2023, the body of a man was recovered from the water.
“Enquiries are ongoing and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
