Police have launched an investigation into the death of a woman discovered at a flat in Stranraer.
Officers were called to an address in Dalrymple Street around 6.45am on Sunday.
A 27-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances, and the death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.45am on Sunday, May 11, 2025, we were called to an address in Dalrymple Street, Stranraer.
“Officers attended, and a 27-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.”
