Adobe StockAn investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found at a property in East Ayrshire.
Emergency services were called to an address on Hopes Avenue, Dalmellington, at around 11.25am on Thursday.
A 51-year-old man was found dead at the property.
Police confirmed the death is being treated as “unexplained”, and enquiries are into the death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.25am on Thursday, 20 March, 2025, we were called to a report of the death of a 51-year-old man at an address on Hopes Avenue, Dalmellington.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and his next of kin are aware.”
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
