A body has been found in the search for a mum missing since last Tuesday.
Angela Keenan was last seen at around 7am on Tuesday in the Laxton Drive area of Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire.
At around 3.20pm on Sunday, April 7, the body of a woman was found within a car in the Parkhead area of Glasgow.
She has been formally identified as the missing 58-year-old, police said.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal,” a Police Scotland spokesperson said.
Officers had asked the public to look out for Ms Keenan’s black Kia Venga car which had been sighted heading northwards on the A806 Initiative Road towards the roundabout at Industry Street Kirkintilloch, at around 7.24am on Tuesday.
