A body has been found in a wooded area in Glasgow amid a search for a missing man.
Police said the body of a man was discovered in woods in Castlemilk around 4.10pm on Sunday
Formal identification is yet to take place however the family of missing man Mark Coldwell, 52. have been made aware of the discovery.
Officers said there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Around 4.10pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024, the body of a man was found in a wooded area in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow.
“Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Mark Coldwell, 52, reported missing from Castlemilk, have been made aware.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
