A body has been found in a wooded area in Glasgow amid the search for a man who disappeared more than a fortnight ago.
Robert Anderson was reported missing on Wednesday, March 4, having last being seen two days prior on King Street in the city.
An appeal was launched to trace the 60-year-old, who walks with a distinct limp.
On Friday, officers were notified of the discovery of a body near Ardencraig Road around 3.45pm.
Formal identification is yet to take place, however, Mr Anderson’s family has been informed.
The death is being treated as unexplained, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
