A biker has died after his motorcycle collided with a lorry in Glasgow.
The crash happened at the junction between Parkhouse Road and Nitshill Road at around 10am on Saturday.
Emergency crews were called to the smash but a 62-year-old man was pronounced at the scene.
The road was closed while an initial investigation took place but has since been reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10am on Saturday, officers were called to Parkhouse Road at the junction with Nitshill Road in Glasgow following a serious road crash involving a lorry and a motorbike.
“The motorcyclist, a 62-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The road remains closed as the investigation into the circumstances continues. Local diversions are in place.”
