A 23-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car and pedestrian in West Dunbartonshire.
Emergency services were called to Mountblow Road in Clydebank, shortly after 4pm on Tuesday.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the biker was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pedestrian and driver of the car involved were not injured.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 4.05pm to a report of a serious crash involving a pedestrian, motorbike and a car in Mountblow Road, Clydebank, on Tuesday.
“Emergency services attended but despite their best efforts, the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“The pedestrian and driver of the car were checked by ambulance personnel but were uninjured.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
Police have appealed for witnesses or those who may have dash-cam footage to call 101.
