The biggest Superdrug in Scotland has opened its doors at Braehead shopping centre.
The new 11,000 sq ft store marks the expansion of the retailer into a larger unit at the shopping mall in Renfrewshire.
Ten new jobs have been created as a result of the move, in the lower mall area.
Products that were previously unavailable in the smaller store including the Milani make-up range, Nails Inc. nail polish, a bigger choice of Rimmel products and YSL fragrances will be stocked in the new unit.
Manager of the new Superdrug at Braehead, Gillian Hudson said: “I’ve no doubt people will be impressed. The size of our new store at Braehead will wow shoppers, as it’s much more spacious.
“It’s also very bright and we have lots of new products that the previous smaller store couldn’t stock.
“We’re very excited about our new store opening and we couldn’t wait to open the doors and welcome our customers.”
Peter Beagley, Braehead centre director said: “Shoppers will love the new Superdrug store, including the nail bar, brow bar and the increased range of health and beauty products they have to offer – adding to the great store offering here at Braehead.”
Nigel Duxbury, property director at Superdrug, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our brand-new store in Braehead.
“We can’t wait for our local customers to visit – with a professional Beauty Studio, fragrance counter, exclusive brands and more, we’re confident that it’s going to be a hit.”
